Here are the good causes and charities that I support. I don't have the cashflow to actually send in monetary donations, but these generally provide a person with other ways to help out: whether clicking through a link to donate, shopping in the site's store (Example: I once bought a small-denomination Roman copper coin from the Hunger Site's store for $10.00, which benefited the Hunger Site), taking surveys, or just spreading the word and encouraging others to get involved.

New!Teach For America. Earn money for Teach for America (or a number of other charities to choose from) by taking surveys for $0.50 a survey and donating the proceeds to this charity. Click here to get to Teach For America's website. TFA is a national teacher corps of college graduates and professionals who commit to teach for two years and raise student achievement in public schools. I'd sum it up as, "breaking the cycle of poverty through educational experiences and opportunities in low-income areas." I've been involved with taking the surveys for about a month and a half now and have earned $7.50 for TFA so far. Raised so far: $317,585 and 362,138 contributors as of June 7th, 2014.

The Animal League of Green Valley. TALGV is a private, non-profit, all volunteer organization serving the greater Green Valley area. Our primary purpose is to find new homes for companion animals whose owners are unable to care for them because of illness or other necessary lifestyle changes that cannot include their pet. We also assist as many other animals in need as our facilities and resources will permit.

C.A.T. - Cat Association of Topeka

The CAT Association of Topeka. C.A.T. is a non-profit no-kill cat shelter dedicated to the welfare of abandoned and relinquished cats and kittens. Visit their site. URL updated!

The Hunger Site. Part of Greater Good. Give food for free to hungry people in the world. Visit The Hunger Site to give food to the hungry with just a click -- once each day and at no cost to you. 100% of collected revenue from site sponsorships goes to the hunger relief efforts of Mercy Corps and America's Second Harvest. A "click to give" costs nothing but a few seconds of your time, and gives help and hope to a person in desperate need. And while you're there, you might also click on the other charitable projects (see below); they have, among others, animal rescue, breast cancer research, veterans, and autism -- all helpable with just a daily click. Plus you can shop in their stores and help them out by buying something, too. Browse around, see what all you can do to help while you're on the sites.

New Orleans Vampire Association. NOVA is a State Recognized Non-Profit Organization geared toward helping the homeless in the New Orleans area and working towards its greater goals, including a homeless shelter in the Greater New Orleans area. If you would like to donate money toward the cause, please click through to their donations page. They currently provide food for the homeless three times a year: Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Noah's Wish. Noah's Wish (URL added, so now you can click through!) is a unique animal welfare organization dedicated exclusively to the care of animals in disasters throughout the United States. Their singular mission is to save animals during disasters with their shelter and recovery services and to mitigate the impact of disasters on animals through their educational outreach programs.

.A site similar to Greater Good, in that your clicks generate donations from their sponsors to help fund good causes -- including big cats, breast cancer, baby seals, children, our oceans, and more. Supports conservation efforts by the Wildlife Conservation Society. I don't want to see any of the big cats go extinct. Not in my lifetime. Please, please visit this site, bookmark it, and take a few seconds of your time each day to go there and click their "Click to Donate" button.

I will have more up here eventually, but for now, I must work on other things.

Come donate a FREE click to protect animals, habitats and people in need. We know you care <>

Greater Good

Click on each of these sites once a day to help out that cause for free (Tip: When you go to one of Greater Good's cause, you can access these other causes from the menu bar at the top of their page, so you don't have to keep coming back here): Bookmark your favorite causes and visit them once a day to click.

If you have enjoyed looking at my web page, do something kind for someone. It doesn't have to be a big thing: hold a door open for someone elderly (or young); let a vet, policeman, nurse/EMT, or firefighter go ahead of you in the grocery line; or buy a homeless guy a dinner or slip him a $20. Just pay it forward. The world needs more kindness. You can help. It starts with you; it starts with me.
